FROM THE HEART OF
MISSIONS
JUNE 2008 NEWSLETTER
We want first of all to personally thank you
for your prayers and financial support of missions in this part of the
world. There are times in which I would like to just tell everything
that I experience here as a missionary, and it is some of those things
which I believe should not even be experienced. I am
referring specifically to the hurts and sufferings in the lives of the
nationals to whom God has sent me. It was an honor to get to pray for
this entire family including their newborn baby (shown in the photo).
Emotional is the best way to describe my feelings when I see tears shed
from someone whose heart has been touched by the Master's hand. These
people have been scarred by rejection, pain, and bloodshed. It is their
shame that speaks the language of guilt and rejection. However, grace
speaks the language of forgiven and priceless. Only the love and mercy
of God can make real righteousness in the human heart.
I would like to give you an update on ministry concerning the city of
Ramallah with my colleague who is still on the ground there. There are
new advancements which have been made in the ministry center. For
example, the outside rails, metal doors, and the tiles have been put
into place. The ministry center in Ramallah has actually become a very
beautiful structure where we are able to minister to the peoples' needs.
There is still food and clothing distribution which is being done, and
we have also continued the budget for medication for the elderly in the
senior center. It would not be safe to show the photo, however last
Friday I had the pleasure of baptizing a young man who is the nephew of
a powerful cleric leader. Please pray for him. We'll just call the young
man brother A. |

Your
continued prayer and financial support has made ministry possible in the
nation of Israel. We want to thank you for your faithfulness.

Love,
